A trusted regional centre transforming maritime information into shared awareness and coordinated action.
The Regional Maritime Information Fusion Centre (RMIFC), headquartered in Antananarivo, Madagascar, strengthens maritime domain awareness across the Western Indian Ocean through the collection, analysis, fusion and sharing of maritime information.
Established within the Regional Maritime Security Architecture, RMIFC provides a neutral environment where Member States, liaison officers and international partners build a common maritime picture.
The Centre works closely with the Regional Coordination Operations Centre in Seychelles. Together, RMIFC’s analytical capability and RCOC’s operational coordination help partners move from early warning to timely, proportionate action.

“Shared information builds shared confidence — and shared confidence enables effective regional action.
