The Analysts
Maritime analysts analyse collected maritime information by editing and verifying it. They ensure the reliability of information and verify its sources. Once analysed, information is transferred to the International Liaison Officers (ILOs) for a second verification and validation. The analysts are primarily responsible for daily production, including the press summary, daily briefing, regional maritime picture and port situation. ILOs correct and validate the information before returning it to the maritime analysts for dissemination. Maritime analysts share the information, design weekly reports and monitor the RMIFC area of interest as part of void detection.
